This past Tuesday on the 17th of July we suited up (or at least one of the zkhiphani crew member did) and attended the high-status 2012 African Access National Business Awards, this year’s ceremony was a little bit more extraordinary as it was their 10th annual event so they were celebrating a decade of success in ensuring that the country’s top performing individuals and companies are recognized. The experience took place on the second floor at the Sandton Convention Centre, the experience was hosted by the pleasant SABC 2 morning live presenters Vuyo Mbuli and Leanne Manas. The big winner of the night was Kumba Iron Ore who won the Investing in People and Employer of the Year Awards, and Kumba’s CEO Chris Griffith walked away with the Top Performing Businessman of the Year Award.
