Cape Town will be hosting prominent African designers and other big names in the fashion industry at the Africa Fashion International (AFI) fashion week happening this week. The #IAmAfrica themed show will be running on Human Rights day the 21st (Wednesday) all the way to the 24th (Saturday) of March 2018.
Some of the local fashion designers that will be showcasing South African talent include Orapeleng Modutle of Style Avenue, Khosi Nkosi, Maxhosa by Laduma, and of course – the fashion king himself, David Tlale.

The event will also include master class talks from the industry’s heavy weights about the business of fashion, cultural appropriation and intellectual property.
