AKA to collaborate with Duncan

The XXI Annual South African Music Awards will be taking place this Sunday, 19 April 2015 and Sun City will once again with the official beer sponsor Amstel play host to one of South African music’s most illustrious awards event. Among the highlights of the evening will be AKA (with four nominations in the bag) and Duncan (with three nominations)  performing a live collaboration featuring one of this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award recipients, Mdu Masilela.

Viewers can also expect to see rapper Cassper Nyovest (five nominations), veteran rockers Prime Circle (four nominations) and Cape Town’s favourite pop princes Beatenberg (six nominations) blazing up the stage. And adding even more meat to the entertainment menu will be performances by the likes of Qadasi, L’vovo, Black Motion and Xoli M.

Tickets for the live show are still available at Computicket, with golden circle tickets costing R130 and gallery seats R375. Fans also have the opportunity to secure their place among the glitterati at the official Amstel after-party, at R495 per ticket. Tune in to SABC1 on Sunday, 19 April 2015 at 20h00 to watch the show.
