AKA’s Music Video For Jika Tops YouTube Charts A Week After Its Release



Barely a week after dropping what is rumoured to be the last music video off his successful album, Touch My Blood, AKA’s Jika has topped YouTube charts. Jika, which features Yanga Chief claimed the second spot on YouTube Charts’ Top Trending list.

The YouTube Charts Top Trending List reflects the new music that South Africans are listening to on the platform. Other artists in the top five this week are: J. Cole who takes the top sport for “Middle Child”, Chris Brown for “Undecided” at number three, Jo Black for “Voel Jy Die Genade” at number four and Khalid and Kane Brown for “Saturday Nights” at number five.

AKA, Jo Black, Joyous Celebration, and Thee Legacy’s Thando featuring Mlindo The Vocalist are the only South African acts in the top 10 of the Trending list. This is major.
