SBX clocks in 25K streams on her debut EP These Songs Are About You and releases 2 new singles

New R&B sensation SBX is conjuring up love on records with her celestial voice. Her debut EP, These Songs About You racked up over 20K streams, a great feat for an independent artist. She releases two new singles as an appreciation to her fans.

SBX shared the news that the project has garnered 24 944 streams on Spotify alone since its release and surprised her supporters with two exclusive releases in celebration of her birthday this past weekend. The first song; titled Leo’s Exit was released on Saturday, 24 July. It was followed by Midrand Drive on her birthday, July 25th. SBX expressed her gratitude for the support.

”I’m super grateful to everyone; especially my Xer’s for the birthday love. What a crazy couple of months it’s been since my debut EP dropped. The support has been beautiful and humbling, it’s kept me determined, inspired and happy to share even more music,” she says. “I love you and thank you for your continued support. Enjoy!” she concluded.

SBX was first heard on 4 U, the lead single to her EP which was released independently September 2020. These Songs Are About You is a 7-track project which displays S B X’s love story. The alternative and soulful R&B intermingles with atmospheric electronic landscapes, which altogether invokes a range of emotions, but most importantly always leaves a deep impact.

SBX has hit her stride with the same panache on her notes on both songs, with requests that she releases them on Apple Music and Spotify. Leo’s Exit and Midrand Drive are currently on Soundcloud.
