Building on the continued success of the forward-thinking partnership between ASICS and Kiko Kostadinov Studio, they will resume their curational series for Spring/Summer 2024, releasing two new models between October and November 2024.
This chapter of the partnership seeks to push the envelope, experimenting further with colour, materiality and performance. ASICS SportStyle and the Kiko Kostadinov Studio have looked to nature for inspiration – researching landscapes, terrain and natural phenomena to inform colour profiles and silhouettes. Re-enacting how natural elements blend into and co-operate with each other, materials will be juxtaposed with one another. Expect matte and iridescent textures , lucent glossy finishes, and blended tessellated patterns – all of which are design signatures fans of previous iterations have come to expect from this partnership.
The UB8-S GT-2160™ sneaker a streamlined silhouette that evokes memories of 2010-era ASICS running shoes. A redesigned tongue and vamp construction gives the model a unique-layering effect, with GEL™ technology inserts throughout the midsole, providing for advanced cushioning.
Each of these models will be released throughout the Spring/Summer 24 season, launching with the release of the UB8-S GT-2160™ (Brown Storm/Sienna) at Shelflife, Lemkus & Sneaker District.
