Multi-award-winning singer and songwriter Aymos, also known as Babill Amos Shii, has just dropped another banger and highly anticipated single called ’10K’. This track features the powerful vocal talents of Samthing Soweto and Sha Sha, as well as the skillful production of Mas Musiq.
The release of 10K Yey’nkomo comes ahead of Aymos’ forthcoming album Impilo, a project that promises to captivate audiences.
As an experience, ’10K’ is said to beautifully capture the essence of lobola negotiations, portraying the deep cultural significance and emotional journey of a man who must gather resources to show appreciation to his partner’s family.
Reflecting on the collaboration, Aymos shared, “I am constantly grateful for the opportunity to work with such incredible talents like Samthing Soweto, Sha sha, and Mas Musiq. The inspiration behind 10K comes from witnessing the joy and excitement in my family during lobola negotiations leading to a cultural wedding. This is the beauty of life, and that’s why my upcoming album is titled Impilo.”
Impilo is set to release on 30 August 2024.
