With these kicks already spotted on the feet of Sean Wotherspoon, it looks like Prada and Adidas are back with a dope collaborative sneaker, the stylish A+P LUNA ROSSA 21.
The refreshing new silhouette takes inspiration from the AC75 Luna Rossa boat and the legendary Prada and Adidas sneakers which present an eco-friendly and sustainable sneaker inspired by both sporting and sailing heritage.
In the duo’s last collaboration Prada had added its design aesthetic to the Adidas Original Superstar, however this time around Adidas brings its own flavour through its innovative expertise in shoe design to produce the A+P LUNA ROSSA 21.
With that, we dive into some of the many Adidas qualities that make up the shoe such as the uppers which are made from a collection of high performance recycled materials referred to as PRIMEGREEN. Also incorporated within the construction of the shoes are hydrophobic E-TPU outer shells which act as a flexible yet breathable and long-lasting shield against water penetration.
The sneakers also boast EVA tongues as well as smooth suede interior saddles that further highlight and define the shoes’ sailing inspiration. For that added comfort feel, a BOOST midsole is implemented with the wraparound outsole to also include that lightweight and flexible feels.
To complete the shoe design, Prada and Adidas detailing are subtly added across the body of the sneakers to complement that collaborative aesthetic. With that, make sure to check out the all new Prada x Adidas LUNA ROSSA 21 kicks above which have been set to drop on 9 December for roughly R10 000.
