Heart-broken, bitterness, vengeance, plotting and a scheming is what one can expect from the book. This is the second thriller that Angela Makholwa wrote. She is also the author of Red Ink and The 30th Candle. The Black Widow Society offering goes deep in what women go through. Think of the Sunday meetings or “society”/gathering that our mothers have the type of conversations they share amongst each other while they sip on their tea/cold drinks? Makholwa gives an inside of what might be happening in those type of meeting, however these once are top notch and secretive. The book can relate with current situations that might be happening in the townships and the high walls in the suburbs. It will take your breath away and will have you begging for more. However, it leaves you with a wondering mind and questions on who will do what and when? Makholwa said this is not a book to teach people to do criminal acts however acknowledge things that are happening behind closed doors; it might be from the person you admire to a random person in the street.
