Boxed Hibernation was held at the scenic Premier Hotel situated in Arcadia. The weather on Sunday was clear skies and the usual warmth of the Pretoria sun we have come to love. Dependant on the genre of music and vibe all guests were in the mood for that day, one had options. The entire first mezzanine floor of the Premier Hotel was setup with crisp high definition sound, interesting lighting and elegant lounges for guests who felt for a cosy indoors vibe. At 11:00 on Sunday morning the first of five DJ’s, DJ Boogie G came onto the ground floor stage to begin setting the mood for the afternoon ahead. The Jack Daniels main DJ stage was setup in the beautiful outdoor garden area of the Premier Hotel. Jack Daniel’s definitely lived at the Premier Hotel on Sunday 5th May 2013.
As the afternoon progressed DJ, The Josh rocked the stage with his enjoyable mix of Hip-hop followed by DJ Chris K who has a solid track record and following of party goers, who know him for his abilities on the decks. DJ Juizy Jazz was next on the one’s-and-two’s to mix some soulful house to the scene. As event began to reach fever pitch levels one of Pretoria’s most prolific DJ’s, DJ Eazy E came onto the stage to get the bodies moving and shaking. Bottles of premium brand Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel and Gentleman Jack were available. The premixed Jack & Cola was accompanied with shots of the new Jack Honey to fight off the chills of winter creeping in. Even if you didn’t make the invite list for this affair and you paid the R70 pre-sale or R80 at the door amount, it was money well spent.
The organisers have made it clear that this is the standard of quality and level of event that they would like to maintain for all party goers who are looking to experience socialising in an interesting way.
