Born in a musical family in Ga- Sedibeni Village, under the Rain Queen Modjadji leadership, in Limpopo Province in South Africa, Candy Mokwena, Kalawa diva, famously known for her hit song with Oskido Tsamandebele, which won Metro FM song of the year, has landed a role on etv ekasi stories: Tendeprenuers which is produced by Asi-b Films which is schedule to start shooting from the 9th of September and wraps on the 13th of September in the heart of Limpopo province Venda. She will play a part of a no pushover, mayor, who is tasked with cleaning her department.
When asked about how does she feel about her debut acting” I’m so excited about being part of the Asi-B Film family when I was called to audition, I was reluctant at first because I’m a musician not an actor, but when they called to tell me. I got the part I was over the moon, cause I’ll be representing Limpopo province and it’s languages.
