The young designer recently showcased his latest collection at the Joburg Fashion Week in Melrose Arch. He is a self-taught streetwear creative that is no stranger to the fashion world.
Andile has graced numerous runways including #SowetoFashionWeek and we were thrilled to learn that he took part in the #JoburgFashionWeek.
This time around, his inspiration ‘JERSEY No10’ comes from the brands existence which was founded in 2009. The company named, Designer Original Products Enterprise launched its first project, a retail brand named DOPE Store which has been operating successfully and the idea behind DOPE Store was stirred by sports, basketball in particular and that’s when he started making T-shirts and caps.
With a background in retail stemming from England, Andile has since pioneered the luxury sportswear trend. The show is said to be a comeback from a previous mishap which occurred when South African Fashion Week dropped him and pulled off his show moments before showcasing his SS18 collection.
He is back bigger and stronger and we couldn’t be more happier for him. An ecstatic Andile gushes over his work,
