In an unexpected turn of events, the highly anticipated Corona Sunsets Festival, slated for 2024, has been postponed due to severe weather conditions. The festival, known for its vibrant atmosphere and electrifying performances, has been temporarily put on hold in the interest of attendee safety.
Amidst the excitement leading up to the event, Mother Nature has intervened, reminding us of her unpredictable nature. While the decision to postpone the festival was not taken lightly, ensuring the safety and well-being of all attendees remains the top priority for the organizers.
”For those who have already secured their tickets, we understand the disappointment and inconvenience this may cause. However, rest assured that steps are being taken to address the situation. Festival ticket holders are urged to stay tuned for further communication next week regarding the next steps to be followed.
Despite the setback, Corona encourages festival-goers to embrace the spirit of the event by catching the sunset on Saturday, 6 April. From 3 pm onwards, selected outlets will be hosting special gatherings where attendees can present their festival tickets to a Corona Representative and enjoy two complimentary Corona beverages* as a token of appreciation for their continued support.”
The designated outlets included:
- Tigers Milk Camps Bay
- Caprice
- Souk
- Gypsy Rabbit
- Rita’s / Hudsons, Kloof Street
- Jerry’s Heritage Square
While we are bit bummed at the fact that we couldn’t enjoy this event like how we did last year, our safety and wellbeing comes first.
