Job description
A fast-paced and dynamic through-the-line ad agency requires your copy editing and proof reading experience.
The successful person will be required to assess qualitative criteria at various stages of the creative process against the requirements of the job brief and provide feedback to the relevant team members:
Copy
Proof all copy for grammar errors and typos.
Ensure recognised copy and editing conventions have been employed.
Ensure copy adheres to the requirements of the various media platforms.
Check that copy follows brand CI.
Design
Proof check all copy in designs.
Check that copy adheres to typographical standards.
Check creative layout against design standards and principles and, where applicable, IA and wireframes.
Check that designs follow brand CI.
Build
Check that all developed output adheres to design.
Check that front-end build adheres to web and mobile best practice.
Check front-end functionality.
Requirements
Understanding of communication and advertising principles
Understanding of web, mobile and print design standards and practices
Experience working with various digital and print platforms:
Experience in copy editing or proof reading
