Last Friday, Da Capo released his latest single, ‘Phakade Lami’, featuring MaWhoo and Soul Star. The track is a heartfelt ode to eternal love, capturing the joy, beauty, and deep emotional connection found in a lifelong union. It speaks to the timeless desire to spend forever with someone you truly love, celebrating love in its purest form: union.
Da Capo and Soul Star are said to be no strangers to working together, and this latest collaboration carries a sense of nostalgia, where long term fans will remember their collaboration on Indigo Child I, a full circle moment that shows off the growth of Da Capo’s sonic expression. The addition of Mawhoo is said to further demonstrate Da Capo’s instinct for staying current, while remaining grounded in the timeless essence of his signature sound.
