At the House of David Tlale the show simply must go on as the famous designer takes the showcase of his latest collection live on the streets.
According to Tlale the recently showcased Autumn/Winter fashion collection which is both Corona Virus lockdown compliant and eco-friendly takes on an extended digital content agenda which stems out to include a fashion show as well as brand collaborations. To make his online fashion show a reality, Tlale partnered up with both Boschendal Wines and one of the country’s leading beauty retailers, Avon South Africa.
“The David Tlale online fashion show is a game-changer that breaks new ground in the world of fashion. It enables all of us to leverage the ubiquity of technology and online platforms while ensuring that we maintain a semblance of normality, safeguard business continuity and offer hope about the future during this uncertain time.”
– Managing Director for Avon Turkey, Middle East and Africa, Mafahle Mareletse
The pre-taped digital fashion show aims to appeal to the local fashion industry from textile manufactures to large fashion retailers and small boutiques to bring greater awareness about the importance of sustainable business in South Africa, as well as encouraging and promoting the adherence to national lockdown regulations regarding the Corona Virus.
“We are launching this collection to the world, to bring hope and a brighter side of life, as the old saying goes…”When you look good, you feel good” so, let’s dress up and overcome “fear” and know that this pandemic will pass, and we will come out shinning.”
– David Tlale
