Published 3 years ago by

Democracy was the order of the day!

Yesterday was one of the biggest highlights for South Africans as the country took to the polls casting their votes. We’ve seen various interactions on social media and we’re impressed at how everyone wants to make a change. Amongst many individuals, our local acts used their influence to urge the youth to make their mark on the day.

We also spotted our much loved public figures that made sure they don’t only do the talking, but stick to their words and action it out. This is who saw at the voting stations.

Rap sensation Moozlie struck her victory pose outside her voting area. She later took to Instagram,

Proud to say I made my mark! Blessed to live in a country that has free & fair elections. I’m feeling extremely grateful for the opportunity to exercise this right today. We are forever indebted to the people who fought for this!

She says.

Bonang Matheba made her mark at her previous high school, Fourways High in Johannesburg. She also shared a live chat with with President Cyril Ramaphosa on her Instagram feed,

I hope you caught my live IG chat with the President of South Africa, His Excellency, President @cyrilramaphosa. Encouraging all the young South Africans to go out today and VOTE!

She wrote.

Power couple AKA and DJ Zinhle also had a chat with the President

We also spotted DJ Tira sharing a few words with the country’s leader

DJ Sbu exercised his democratic right alongside his adorable daughter Wawa,

In a few decades I’ll be an ancestor to her grand kids. 2nd time she stands in a cue to watch daddy cast his vote,

He says.
