By now, we all know that Metro FM DJ, Thato Sikwane, populary known as DJ Fresh, is a lover of tattoos. What with having more tattoos than we can actually keep up with, the DJ has gone and received more ink to his skin.
You might remember how, in 2015, Fresh filled his African map outlined tattoo with faces of prominent African leaders such as former presidents; South Africa’s Nelson Mandela, Botswana’s Seretse Khama and Mozambique’s Samora Machel. He later went on to add Congolese leader, Patrice Émery Lumumba and founding father of Tanzania, Julius Kambarage Nyerere.
The personality pulled through on his promise to fill the rest of his back with more heroes and tattooed another three African leaders this week. Before showcasing his three newest faces, Fresh first asked his followers to suggest great African leaders they think should form part of his African map tattoo.
Today I add another 3 great African leaders …. suggestions ??? #AfricaInMyBloodAndInk pic.twitter.com/UzSUhcHwTJ

Black Twitter went to work and before long, the DJ had a plethora of options to choose from; albeit some options were on the comedic side of things. Take a look at some of the lighthearted suggestions made:
Mgarimbe.

Thankfully, after all the fun and games, Fresh eventually went with former President of Burkina Faso, Thomas Sankara; 17th century Angolan queen, Ana de Sousa Nzinga Mbande and former Emperor of Ethiopia, Haile Selassie.
Just added #ThomasSankara #QueenNzinga #HaileSelassie to my #Afrika back piece! 6 more to go! (Artist: @thys_uys at @fallenheroes) pic.twitter.com/XX2TKMOgJ8

That’s eight down and according to Fresh, six more to go. Kudos to the Big Dawg for his personal homage to Africa’s greats. Which leader do you think Fresh should have added to his back?
