The Icon club seems to be the number one spot that deejays host their birthday parties at, this past Friday we attended the annual
naves experience tour at the sophisticated club on Fredman drive in Sandton. These guys are strict with the dress code ey, they didn’t
want me to get into the building coz I had my all star sneaks on, but my zkhiphani media tag rescued me once again ai I never really
understood why clubs have dress codes, first of all I pay you to get inside your place, I pay for alcohol and now you trying to tell me
how I should dress? Anyways the Metro FM presenter and club DJ Lebogang who is popularly known as DJ Naves threw one hell of a
party. The place was crowded with people and the best part about it was the fact that most of them were hot women, there were two
dance floors and the house floor was rather smaller than the hip hop ground which was something you don’t see every weekend but
then again we were in Sandton and we all know how much the cheese kids love “hip hop”. This was probably the best Icon event I have
ever attended so far and everything went well except for the horrible parking issues, The club’s management really needs to do
