The Campus Inspiration Sessions that we have established with DJ Sbu are a platform for us to inspire the youth to continue to achieve and focus on quality education; especially as research shows that only 40% of matriculants who enter the labour force will find employment, whilst that percentage increases to 78% if an individual is a university graduate.”
Throughout October and November DJ Sbu and Mageu Number 1 Smooth will be visiting Campuses around the country where R250 000 will be awarded in student aid to campus students nominated by their friends. DJ Sbu is not only a media personality and businessman; he’s also a philanthropist who thrives on giving back to the youth of South Africa. He has become synonymous with inspiring students by providing them with mentorship and bursaries, so the fit with Mageu Number1 Smooth couldn’t be better. “Education is key in ensuring that we have qualified people in order for us to build our economy,” remarked DJ Sbu. “We want the youth to lead successful lives, and by providing them with opportunities such as student aid that enables students to better themselves, is something I am very passionate about.
