DJ Shimza joins Andy X and Miss Cosmo as a resident DJ on Channel O’s Bassment show, adding his own musical flavour to the show’s strong mix. He is buzzed about his new role. “Being able to make use of Bassment’s groundbreaking technology to mix videos back-to-back is a great opportunity for me and I can’t wait to give music fans a new experience,” says the DJ who has won hearts and minds with his cracking sounds and charitable work.
Shimza has been wowing house fans with his sounds everywhere from his Tembisa home base to the UK and the USA – both through his live appearances and his recorded output including on Soul Candi’s 10th anniversary pack. Shimza is also community minded with his charity event – DJ Shimza’s One Man Show – raising funds for projects in his own community.
