What do you get when you put Nasty C, K.O and AKA on a track produced by DJ Vigilante? I’ll tell you what, Fire! Mixing the new school in the form of Nasty C and the more established rappers in the form of K.O and AKA, DJ Vigi has gone out and came out with a Banger Banger Banger!
K.O is the first to get on the track and boy does he murder that verse! At first I didn’t recognise the flow but the voice was definitely his. He has his A game on this track and yho, serving bars. In the verse he raps about not wanting to ever go broke again with lines like: “The Cashtime president, been getting the Gupta and I’m never going broke, no more” and “I played monopoly, played with action figures now the game is our monopoly we play with actual figures”. And this line “The Reason for my Loot Love”. Did he just confirm the relationship? The flow is fire nonetheless.
Nasty C is the second to jump on the track and he is nice. Full stop and the period! “They should have told you to stay off twitter ‘coz lately it’s been looking like I’ve paid off Slikour”. This line is referring to how often and how many of his tracks are featured on Slikour’s hip hop website. That is how hard he is working on releasing new music. In my opinion, people should forget any other track that they’ve heard Nasty C on and let this be his debut to the world. His verse on this track coupled with that flow makes him sound so seasoned. After this, I have new found respect for the kid.
I’m actually beginning to buy into SuperMega’s hype not only because it’s him but because he always delivers. A lot of people have been saying that AKA is starting to sound monotonous in terms of his flow and style. Sort of like he found a winning formula and he’s going with it. I personally don’t think there is anything wrong with that, if it ain’t broke don’t try to fix it right? On this track his flow is killa, no questions about it. He switched it up, flipped it over and now it’s on steroids. “I think I reached my potential too fast, I hope this beat has got a Kaizer Chiefs funeral plan”. Done.
The only comment I have on this beat besides the fact that it’s dope,is that it sounds eerily similar to K.O’s smash hit Papa Action. The beat for that track was produced by K.O and Kam De La Kam and who knows maybe K.O lent his production skills to make up the sound of Bang Out. I almost feel like this may be the “unofficial remix” for Papa Action, DJ Vigi are we correct in assuming that?
The response of the track has been positive with some,
