South African platinum selling, multi award winning & BET nominated R&B crooner Donald took to the stage on Friday 19th August at Carnival City’s Big Top Arena for his first ever LIVE DVD recording. Over 3 500 fans filled the arena to witness the “Red Mic Xperience first hand before the DVD release.
Supporting acts Naak Musiq and Busisiwa lit up the stage before Donald’s 2 hour long performance which was nothing short of amazing. As promised, Donald pulled off a few surprises for his fans with artists such as Heavy K, Prince Kaybee, Dream Team and more joining him on stage.
“I am incredibly grateful to all my fans that showed up to support my first live DVD show. From what I could see on stage and via social media, they had a great time and I can’t wait to share the DVD with them when it’s ready. Donald is now set to embark on a 6-8 city national “Red Mic Xperience” tour before heading out to the rest of Africa. Fans can expect the DVD to be released later this year.
