Do’s & Don’ts for ALL BLACK parties!
Published 5 years ago by

Major League DJZ All Black Party (73)

You have to admit, there’s something alluring about an all black outfit. This colour just seems to add a sense of elegance, sophistication and, if you dare, edge, to any outfit! Now, take an all black themed party, add a birthday celebration from award-winning twin deejays to that mix, and what do you get? A fashion fiesta!

We know themed parties are kind of hard for bo’darkie, because we don’t always follow through on the colour scheme or the invite’s dress code. So, here’s a guide on “What to do” and “What not to do” when dressing up for an all black party – as seen at the Major League All Black Fiesta gig this past weekend.

DO crop it up, and add a touch of skin like these two ladies.

DO fierce your outfit up with a nice hairdo

DO add a statement piece like this white fur coat on Miss Patty Monroe

DON’T safeguard your phone in your boobs; it’s not healthy.

Instead, DO use a hip clutch bag, that adds to your look, like these ladies.

DO edge it up with thigh-high boots like NoMoozlie

DON’T go left when the party is going right – the invite was not “all denim” Yanga!

DO lace it up like these two honnies.

Besides not being off-point, DON’T wear those ripped jeans if you’re a man. Just DON’T!
