Fana Mokoena talks world war z sequel

Fana Mokoena is one of South Africa’s most talented but underrated star, not only is he an actor but he is also a member of parliament for the Economic Freedom Fighters. Fana made Mzansi proud when he was featured in the Hollywood horror action film “world war z” with a lead role alongside Brad Pitt back in 2013. Mokoena wrote on his Facebook page “World War Z 2 unpacking” hinting that he might be featured once again on the successful blockbuster sequel, “Heh Banna!! Just had thee most incredible 30mins of my entire pitiful life. First a call from LA. Now another one from London. I can safely say my life is definitely changing course. It’s been a while coming. Ten years in the making, when I took the decision to follow passion over narrow-minded fame and fortune. Passion leads, fame and fortune merely follow. It’s been rocky, tough, unbearable at times. Now I get to follow two of my biggest passions in life. Arts and activism, but on a grand stand, where it actually matters. I’m grateful. Things change when you succumb to the power of destiny. What I know now, is that I did well in the past keeping under the radar, biding time, working hard, sometimes in suffering. But there’s power in silence. There’s power in coming from behind watching. It changes your perception of results, because you truly understand the journey. It humbles you to the leviathan character of process” Fana says.
