Vintage fashion lovers are going to love us hard today! Vintage with Love, a fashion and charity platform is hosting a vintage fashion sale this weekend, and it promises to be a fun fashion sale with a difference! The event, which began in 2013, is run by two fashion-forward women who have made charity work even more fulfilling with elements of fun, fashion and ease! How the platform works is that, women, designers and clothing boutiques are first invited to donate their “pre-loved, gently worn” fashion items as part of a project to raise money for five education charities.
After the generous “clearing out” of closets, Vintage with Love then hosts a fashion pop-up sale, where the public is invited to view and buy the vintage garments. All proceeds are then donated to literacy charities! This is definitely a feel good sale and a fashion spree that is guaranteed to leave you not feeling guilty afterwards.
Over the past month, the Vintage with Love team has been collecting the fashion items for sale and have ensured that “there is something for everyone”! The sale starts tomorrow, Friday 3 June to Sunday 5 June, at The Campus on Main Road, Bryanston.
Opening night tickets (or “first chance to shop” tickets) will cost you R500, while Saturday and Sunday tickets go for R70. Get these at www.webtickets.co.za or at the door.
Friday opening night is from 5 to 8pm; Saturday times are from 10am to 4pm; and Sunday times are 10am to 1pm.
