As a reinforcement to celebrating an impressive 1 million listeners milestone on Spotify, rising hip-hop star Tony Dayimane started his 2025 by releasing some new visuals for his ‘Dlala’ record that stems from his debut RED OCTOBER: INDUCTION that dropped last year in the month of October.
From a narrative perspective, ‘Dlala’ has Tony on bravado mode has the song mostly finds him in his boldness and spitting personal experiences that have not only managed to get him to this point but have unsurprisingly opened his life up. Tony also uses the song to address those that might be hating on his grind and the beat + flow do well to keep his delivery very cutthroat sonic-wise.
The visuals are pretty basic overall as we mostly find scenes of Tony performing the tune in a parking lot as well as see some behind-the-scene footage of Tony during some public performances and fan engagements but it is an enjoyable peek at what the life of Tony currently entails with more to come we expect.
