New fresh and hot music is on the way, all thanks to Homes aka ”The guy next door”. The versatile artist is elated to be releasing his second EP titled “I am still here to dream”, a sweet follow-up to his first project ‘Dlangamandla’.
Homes is releasing his second EP titled “I am still here to dream” which is a breakdown of his journey and pursuit of his musical dreams. What makes this 3 track EP so exciting is that he tells the unique story of his journey as a black middle-class kid thus far. On every song on the EP you can clearly hear that homes is influenced by his surroundings, from the stories he tells about the people who have influenced him in his journey thus far, to the slang and references used throughout the EP. “I am still here to dream” sees Homes really elevating his unique production style yet still keeping that some of the African elements found in his first EP ‘Dlangamandla”.
