ICYMI: Big Star & Zoocci Coke Dope Pull Through For Pablo Video
Published 3 years ago by

We almost slept fam! The homie Big Star has been steadily building his brand and when he dropped TellAScope we went nuts. This is the same project that gifted us the banger Flavors, Pablo and No Rush. Now the rapper has dropped the visuals for his most self-reflective joint yet, Pablo featuring Zoocci Coke Dope.

Big Star is fast pulling through to the scene as undoubtedly a musical genius harping on how creative he can be when it comes to his art. On the Pablo music video, Big Star and Zoocci Coke Dope created a minimalistic video that focuses on telling a heartfelt, introspective story of the rappers feeling like Pablo Escobar & Pablo Picasso; having their art being scrutinized by the South African music industry.

The video for Pablo is as clean as they come and I have honestly not seen Big Star this relaxed in a music video. Most of the visuals he has dropped so far have really impressed but they don’t come as flawless as Pablo.

We see the gents in an all white room with paintings and art pieces from all over the world- from the bust of Roman Emperor Ceasar to portraits of Steve Biko and Nelson Mandela. They are both dressed in black and kind of pop out as works of art themselves. Big Star is even rocking sandles!

Big Star really digs deep and delivers some hard hitting lines that, with the background and theme of the video considered, really speak to his life and how hard he has had to work on his craft. “Focused on turning what I got to be into a reality/ and if you ask me Ima tell you that I’m handling, even though I’m barely managing”, how deep is that! the struggle famo!

The Pablo music video was made available after much massive love the song got from fans, which trails the song as the most streamed song on Deezer from the Big Star’s TellAScope EP. Video Directed by Kuda Jemba, shot at the same location where Big Star and Zoocci Coke Dope shot the Flavors music video featuring east rand rapper Reason.
