South Africa’s very own Rich Mnisi has been selected as one of two African designers to present their work at this year’s edition of Vogue Talent’s Digital Event.
With the start of 2020 bringing on the opening of a project called Scouting for Africa 2020 by Vogue Italia’s fashion talent scouting team, the search to find the next emerging designer was on.
In order to apply, African designers were required to submit their work which they would showcase at Milano Fashion Week in Italy. After much time deliberating it was announced that Rich Mnisi would indeed be one of the two winners that will showcase at the highly prestigious fashion event in Milan.
The young designer took his brand’s Instagram account to announce the exciting news as shown below:

Fans and admirers of his work were quick to congratulate the designer with many writing beautiful affirmations of success over Mnisi’s career.
In recent years, the initiative has supported other talented designers such as Thebe Magugu, Kenneth Ize and Laduma Ngxokolo.
