Shimza releases 5 track EP, Fight To Love featuring Maleh as well as remixes from Floyd Lavine and Louie Vega
Afro-Tech titan, Shimza, returns to his KUNYE imprint with new EP Fight To Love featuring Maleh. The EP features two official remixes from house royalty Louie Vega and South African Afro-Futurist Floyd Lavine.

Taking the original to a late-night dimension, producer Louie Vega is the first artist to add his expert touch to Fight To Love. He seamlessly introducing his inimitable New York house groove while keeping the original’s essence intact. Louies version invites listeners into a laidback sonic environment.
Stepping up for the second and final remix on the package is Floyd Lavine. The South African, Berlin-based producer fuses industrial tones and heavy percussion to create a brooding rendition on Fight To Love. With a deep-rooted passion for electronic music, Floyd’s sound encompasses African rhythms and grooves, which he describes as “essences of the African soul”.
Shimza is globally recognised as one of South Africa’s most celebrated musical exports. He broke out onto the world’s electronic circuit with his self-styled Afro-Tech sound.
