ICYMI: WHAT To Expect From Gugulethu Music Video
Published 2 years ago by

Prince Kaybee is preparing to give us fire visuals.

Since the release of his Re’Mmino album, Prince Kaybee has had the nation on its feet dancing to the bangers that he dished out. The first track that received video treatment from the album was Fetch Your Life featuring Msaki which is arguably his biggest song at the moment.

Now Prince Kaybee prepares to give us the visuals to his current runner up hit single after Fetch Your Life –  which is Gugulethu.

Gugulethu has been burning dance floors across the country and has garnered a sum of interest. The original song was first arranged by YFM DJ Supta featuring the Afro Brothers. The song was then later peaked up by Prince Kaybee who called on Indlovukazi to lay her vocals on the beat. Since then the song has been remixed by many underground producers.

WATCH behind the scenes footage of the music video shoot:

It only made sense to shoot the video at the Gugulethu township in Cape Town because the song is dedicated to the beloved ghetto which is located at the Cape Flats. From the snippets Prince Kaybee posted on his Instagram page, we get a glimpse of what to expect in the music video.

The above snippet shows all the people behind the hit tune namely Prince kaybee, Indlovukazi, DJ Supta as well as the Afro Brothers with a cameo by TDK Macassette.

True to the Kasi nature of the track we see a Gusheshe burning some tyres on the streets.
