Durban schoolteacher CRYSTALENE NAIR, last night became the fifth Top 10 contestant to bid Idols SA Season 9 farewell. The Top 6 performed their hearts out in Sunday evening’s “Showstopper” Spectacular and Crystalene sang Rihanna’s “Right Now”, but Idols judge Randall Abrahams said her original audition in Durban didn’t move him, and neither did Sunday evening’s performance. Now there are five contestants left in the competition and this Friday [1 November] they will each perform two songs in the Top 5 Spectacular at the Moreleta Park Church Auditorium in Pretoria, choosing hits from the Nineties and the Naughties.
