South African rapper Mzayifani Mzondeleli Boltina who is also known as iFani has donated R50 000 towards the Wits University #Access campaign. Following the #FeesMustFall movement, the #Access initiative has been created to help disadvantaged students who are willing to study but are unable to pay for their tuition fees. What iFani has done is give hope to thousands of students who had given up on their dreams of getting a tertiary education The goal is to raise R10 million, so it would be really cool to have musicians, actresses, media brands and other companies get involved and donate some money towards the #Access campaign.
After seeing what iFani had done, fellow rapper Cassper Nyovest committed himself into helping Wits students by also donating R50 000 towards the #Access campaign for fees. Cassper has also challenged other rappers in the country to donate some money.
I wonder who will donate next, What’s your guess?
