The International Hotel School’s Cape Town campus has launched its new 1 year Food and Beverage Specialisation programme headed by programme coordinator Wendy-Ann Gietzmann and trainer, Lindy Jacobs that is geared towards preparing skilled Food & Beverage experts for the festive season in Cape Town. On August 5th, a group of 15 students enrolled in the programme with all of them having completed the compulsory 2 week induction period last week. This week, the students started an intense 2 month skills training programme which aids in their preparation for employment in the industry for a six month period over the high season, which will be followed by the final leg of the programme made up of a 3 month theory block, assisting them in successfully qualifying with a City & Guilds Food & Beverage Certificate.
