I had a chat with this young bright lady and this is what went down:
Q: What is the significance of having woman’s month to you as a young lady of today?
A: We get to celebrate each other as women. As a young woman you get to look around you and get inspired by other great women.
Q: With August being women’s month, what kind of woman would you like to project to the world?
A: A talented and hardworking young woman. A dream chaser, who in the process hopefully inspires other young ladies.
Q: Name three women that inspire you and why?
A: My mum firstly because she’s the strongest woman I know, she has handled so much and remains having the biggest heart. My sisters and female cousins. My girls- I learn a lot of lessons from them everyday.
Q: Name five people that you would to host at a dinner party?
- Ryan Seacrest
- Kanye West
- Khanyi Dhlomo
- Trevor Noah
- Hulisani Ravele
Q: What is your must have make up item?
A: A great foundation and bronzer always does the trick.
Q: What is the one thing you can live without? (be honest)
A: LOL to be honest I can live without Make-up. If it was all just taken away, I would be good
Q: What is the one thing you cannot live without?
A: LOL!!! This is tricky, besides my family. Very close one between coffee and my cellphone, haha but those who know me would probably say the coffee.
Q: What are the biggest challenges you face in your industry?
A: Being female is one of the challenges. Especially in Radio. And that’s only because of how things have always been done. As a female you probably have to prove yourself even more.
Q: What is the best gift you’ve ever received?
A: I think I was in high school when someone got me two Usher CD’s, a poster and a T-shirt I think, it meant everything then cause I thought I was gonna marry him, like I was convinced! LOL!!!
Q: Weave, braids or natural hair?
A: I LOVE braids, so yeah I’m more of a braids girl.
Q: Name five things that people don’t know about you, that you sometimes wish they did?
A: Well I’m quite an open book, once I let you in my world chances are you’ll know me very well. I love love, I’m a lover. I can be extremely sensitive. I get annoyed by small minded people. I’m VERY impulsive and spontaneous, lol which is a good and bad thing. I think!
