What was a horse racing event turned social fashion soiree, saw the likes of familiar personalities such as Chris Jaftha, Lunga Shabalala, Kamo Modisakeng, Liezel van der Westhuizen, Kim Jayde and Da L.E.S attend the racing event for the first time.

“It’s my first time here so I’m literally taking it all in. Having something that is blue and white is really dope. I throw all white parties so adding a touch of blue has a nice touch of flavour.”

Kamo Modisakeng on the other hand, who rocked a white and blue stripey halter neck dress along with a pair of floral red bottoms had this to say about the glamorous summer evening.

“I love it. The theme is nice, clean and well put together. I love the consistency in blue and white.”

Also in attendance was radio personality, Liezel van der Westhuizen who borrowed her dress from one of her social media followers.

“I put a call out on social media asking my followers if they by any chance have a clutch bag and one of my followers said they have a bag and a dress I can borrow. I always try not spend money in January.”

But no one quite did it like Lunga Shabalala who rocked a whole entire blue and white checked suit. The River star added some contrast to his look with a maroon tie to which he also accessorized by opting for a watch and a pair of shades.
