During his set at Dreamville Fest, J. Cole took a moment to send an apology to Kendrick Lamar for dropping that diss heard on “7 Minute Drill” off his latest Might Delete Later project. Although fans seem to be split on whether Cole apologizing was a good move, considering that Hip-Hop is a competitive sport, the moment seems to have been created with genuinely good intentions as Cole explained that the days that led up to him saying sorry had him in a weird space… The apology was then concluded by a performance of his 2014 hit ‘Love Yourz’.
