Job description
Now Media is Southern Africa’s premier business-to-business travel publishing house. We are looking to recruit someone who has a flair for subbing and editing and is interested in getting involved in the production process. Other responsibilities will be learning to collect and write suitable, high quality and industry-related articles for Travel News Weekly, and other travel publications, both print and online.
Requirements
Eye for detail (proof reading, editing ability)
Journalism or English Degree
Minimum one year’s experience in a journalist role
Computer skills
English first language
Excellent written and spoken (English) communication skills
Social media literate
Knowledge of B2B journalism
Good general knowledge
Subbing skills
Good research skills
Passionate about news
Driver’s licence and own vehicle mandatory
Previous journalism experience advantageous
