We have a fantastic position available for a “go-getter” junior media planner at one of the worlds leading agencies. Get your foot in the door if you are amazingly articulate, innumerate and have your finger on the pulse of the media world.

Requirements
Three year degree in communications/media – non negotiable
Accept, comprehend and act upon media briefs.
A marketing diploma in advertising communications or a related field is a bare minimum.
Write articulate and coherent media strategies.
Compile media campaigns for client from brief right through to billing process.
Co-ordinate between client, creative and country media resource.
Source and keep abreast of critical media information and insight.
Manage an updated database of African media landscapes that includes but is not limited to:
Consumer research data.
Media rates and rebate structures.
Media type profiles.
Client media campaigns.
Post Buy analyses.
Competitor activity.
Manage the billing process from cost estimate through to final payment.
Personal Skills/Attributes
Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to work under pressure.
Strong E.Q.
Innumerate.
Understanding of advertising and media processes.
Understanding of media research (related software would be an advantage).
Organisation ability.
Strategic ability.
Sense of innovation and creativity.
Strong attention-to-detail.
Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
High energy levels, strong work ethic and the flexibility to work beyond standard office hours.
