The Hennessy Back To The City has been moved to October
The Hennessy Back To The City Hip Hop Festival is the latest event to get postponed amid the Covid-19 Outbreak. The organizers of the show released a statement earlier today in a conference hosted at the SA Hip Hop Museum. They announced that they are moving the show to the 10 of October 2020. The biggest Hip Hop gathering in Africa normally takes place on 27th April, Freedom Day.
“The decision to postpone the annual festival comes at a time of great global uncertainty due to health concern around the COVID-19 pandemic. Ritual Media Group takes the situation very seriously and remains committed to safeguarding the health and safety of our festival patrons, staff, artists and community. We are constant communication with local government officials and #BTTC2020 is now scheduled to take place on the 10th of October 2020. Any changes will be communicated”, part of the statement read.
#BTTC2020 is meant to be the 14th and second last edition of the popular Hip Hop concert.
