King of Sushi, Kenny Kunene says he is “lucky to be alive” after being embroiled in an alleged hit last night (Tuesday). According to various media reports, the alleged incident saw a “group of men fire at least five rows of bullets” at Kenny’s BMW while he drove with a friend on Corlett Drive, Sandton, Johannesburg.

“A white SUV started overtaking me at high-speed, then drove in front of me and hit the brakes,” Kenny told The Star newspaper. He adds that the group of men then stopped their car and proceeded to shoot at the car he was travelling in. He managed to avert the potentially deadly situation by reversing his car and escaped without injuries.
“Two tyres are flat, there are about five bullet holes on the car and the left side mirror next to the windscreen is broken,” he told the paper.
The Citizen also reports that Kenny was meant to have been driving together with his friend and Sunday Independent Editor, Steven Motale, who had just been moved to another car by bodyguards after worries of a suspicious vehicle was seen following the pair.
Black Twitter, however, doesn’t seem to be buying Kenny story and has labeled the businessman, ” a drama king”. Peep some of the comments from the masses:
