The song, which comes with some accompanying visuals, features KindlyNxsh asking listeners, “What is my name?”—a question that can be interpreted as an affirmation of his artistic status. It’s no secret that the streets have KindlyNxsh’s music on blast. In the video, we see “Young Soldier” performing the track in public spaces such as a pool area, an abandoned house, and street corners.
What I enjoyed most about this song was the sudden mellow switch-up in the middle, which offers a moment of introspection before bringing the energy back to the high-octane vibe that dominates the track.
