As we approach the festive season, we can’t help but try to keep up with the hits our local musicians keep throwing our way. One minute you are jamming to ‘Hamba Ha’, and the next you are on some Ghetto Gospel (We can’t keep up). Speaking of keeping up, Kwesta has teamed up with the acclaimed King of Amapiano Kabza De Small to deliver an exceptionally well-new-sound.
The rapper introduced Mzansi to ‘Speak N Vrostaan’ a project with Kabza De Small and Papta Mancane (Kabza de Small’s alter ego). The first introduction comes in the form of 2 singles ‘Mrholo Wayizolo’ as radio focus (attached) and‘Huzet ’as street single that launches the pre-order for the project titled ‘Speak n Vrostaan’. The two singles are available on all digital platforms.
After previously hinting at a collaboration on social media See here. The project is inspired by elevated Pantsula kwaito experience curated by the streets, bringing together two industry giants and superstars in their own right. The narrative is reminiscent of the kwaito sound and lifestyle with a nostalgic feel, telling modern township stories of self- expression that are impactful and significant to the current times.
