Singer/Songwriter Lady X releases a new single with Phikay Entertainment titled “WHO” . featuring Afrikan Roots on production. After singles that defined her sound, namely: “Xivumba” with Metro FM’s Moflava that took South Africa’s airwaves by storm and “Loving You” featuring UHURU (Black Motion mix), Lady X is back with a daring, bolder and authentic sound.
Teaming up with Afrikan Roots on production along with their creativity, drum, jazz undertones and unorthodox sound creates the first chapter to her debut album. The single is being praised by some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. That list includes Murdah from the SAMA Award winning group Black Motion and Soul Candi’s SAMA Nominated Cuebur in applause of the sound Lady X is introducing into the South African music industry.
Education and empowerment as a female in the entertainment industry has always been a primary focus for Lady X and she affirmed her efforts in 2015 by graduating with Honours from The Vega School Of Brand Leadership majoring in Strategic Brand Communications. She later went onto working for one of the leading Public Relations Agencies in South Africa as a publicist. After accomplishing her goals, Lady X has decided to fully focus on her musical aspirations by releasing this single that is a representative of some of the daring and pure sounds on her upcoming debut album
