Jay Jody, Kabza De Small and Sir Trill have all announced new music coming out this year

The year has barely begun and we already have promise of 3 new projects from our beloved music artists. Jay Jody, Kabza De Small and Sir Trill have already announced what their intention is with new music this year and to say the music is highly anticipated is no exaggeration. Check out the list below:

Sir Trill:

Amapiano vocalist and current MVP of the game, Sir Trill has announced that he will be releasing his debut project titled Ghost this year. Taking to social media, the Emlanjeni singer shared the cover art for the album with the caption “The blind will see. The deaf will hear and the dead will live again.” 

Sir Trill has been a main stay in the music industry for the past 2 years, thanks to his unforgetable verses on numerous features he’s graced. From working with heavyweights in the game, such as De Mthuda, Musa Keys, Mpura Mpura and DJ Stokie to name a few, Ghost will be a body of work that solidifies his contribution to the Amapiano movement.

Jay Jody:

Jay Jody has confirmed that he will be releasing his solo album this year. Taking to social media to answer a fan who asked about the album, the rapper promised that 2022 will be the year we will get a full body of work from him.

Jay Jody is fresh off the release of his  joint album with award winning rapper and little brother A-Reece. Together as Blue Tape, the duo released heaveN caN waiT: thE narroW dooR voL 1 in December, a stunning body of work that has already topped Apple Music streaming numbers and comfortably exceeding over 1 million streams.

Kabza De Small:

Amapiano royalty and Piano Hub boss, Kabza De Small has revealed that he is working on a new album due out this year. Taking to Instagram in, Kabza posted a video with the caption “Koa Vol 2, 2022 Piano Hub”, hinting at the follow up to his well received King Of Amapiano Vol. 1.

The first volume of the project did well on music streaming platforms, snatching the number 1 spot on the Apple Music South Africa albums chart. In fact, almost all the songs on the project popped in charts across Mzansi. KOA Vol 2 will certainly meet these standards.
