LISTEN: Gino Brown Releases Shayi’number Featuring Bra Vince

Published

on

Fast rising DJ and producer, Gino Brown is back with a bang!  He gave us the hypnotic Ta Latuu late last year and now he is back with a new single. His latest release is titled Shay’inumber and it’s a guarantee party starter, and a definite sing along.

It is refreshing to know that Afro-house is making a comeback! We are thrilled because this type of sound is laidback and obviously perfect for winter chilling sessions. Gino Brown is consistent with the sound as he brought us many great songs; Heaven Can Wait and Body Language.

Shay’inumber follows this trend and it may just as well be the best song we have heard this week. The catchy vocals which are delivered in Zulu, by Vincent Ngubane (Bra Vince) are sure to keep you mesmerized. The production is simple yet effective, with a synth riff that continuously plays throughout the song, making it unforgettable. Winter is about to be warm with this hot tune!

Fifi Cooper Going Back To Her Roots With New Album, Take Me Back

From the first lady to boss lady, it’s now time for the release of the rapper and singer’s sophomore album: Fifi Cooper is back with a brand new album titled Take Me Back.

This is one of the most anticipated albums of 2018 and is the first project from her record label, MoCooper Records. The Motswako rapper did not hold back at all this time with her breath-taking & versatile flows that are backed-up by melodic beats.

The 21 track album includes singles like Calling featuring Moozlie and Emoyeni featuring Thabsie just to name but a few. The buzzing new single Zwagala, which is the first featured single, is already creating a craze on the radio airwaves and is being touted as THE street anthem.

When asked why the album was titled Take Me Back, this is what she had to say:

“I named it Take Me Back because in it, I am going back to my roots of Motswako. I did different things in the past because I was not in control of my creativity but now that I am my own boss, I will stick to what I know best.”

Mooketsi then added: “I wanted the album to be released in August as my way of saying RIP to Mama Winnie [Mandela]. I appreciate her teachings and it is interesting that, women like me are still going through our own struggles,”

The album dropped today and is available for streaming and purchase on all major digital stores. Fans can also look forward to the Zwagala music video which should be dropping soon.

Will you be copping it?
