Since Louie Vega’s first visit to South Africa in 1999, and with each subsequent annual visit, he has mastered the art of inspiring rapture in local audiences. And now he has a new African home. That’s because Vega’s new album is signed to the House Afrika label and will be marketed and distributed through the joint venture with major label Sony Music in March 2016.
Vega describes it as “a beautiful record. You’re talking about the highest level of production in house music and great songs, tailored for and by each artist. It’s also the first Louie Vega record ever – everything else has been done under other names – and it epitomizes everything about me.” He says.
