This week we appreciate the gorgeous cast of an upcoming South African film, Baby Mamas. The motion picture features the outspoken Dineo Ranaka, gracious Thembisa Mdoda, the ever smiling Salamina Mosese and well-bred actress Kay Smith.
Each cast member plays a role that an average everyday woman can identify with, In celebration of the film and of course this week’s woman crush wednesday, we get to celebrate these ladies.
Dineo Ranaka is by far one of the most candid celeb’s in Mzansi and we’ve seen her work behind and in front of the camera. Fans fell in love with her during her youth days at YFM as well as her successful reality TV shows.
Dineo is currently on Metro FM as she co-hosts a show alongside Lerato Kganyago. In the film, Ranaka portrays a character of a fun-loving lady called Joy.
Thembisa Mdoda is no stranger to our screens and on this project she plays a no-nonsense role of a lady called Sandy. The award winning TV star has graced many magazine covers and she still has a lot to offer the entertainment industry.
Salamina Mosese is an amazing mother and wife who has been in the industry for years. She won the Top Billing presenter search back in 2008 and is married to Tshepo ‘Howza’ Mosese. In the film she’ll be playing Toli, a single mom who is on the path of finding love.
Cape Town based actress Kay Smith plays the role of the ever loving Chantel. In the movie, she discovers that she is pregnant and her world is turned upside down. The Magnet Theatre graduate previously played Tarryn on the 7de Laan soapie.
These ladies are on the October cover of Bona Magazine alongside Stephina Zwane. They all open up about working on set together, motherhood and baby daddies.
