To celebrate its 150 Anniversary year, Martini® yesterday launched their second Terrazza. Born out of the Rossi family’s vision that lovers of Italian sparkling wine could congregate in unique spaces and locations around the world, the first Terrazza opened on a rooftop on the Champs-Elysee in Paris in 1948.
The concept proved such a success that the Terrazza was transported to London, Milan, Geneva, Brussels, Sao Paolo, Barcelona and now Soweto.
Half a century later, the tradition continues with the same spirit and passion of the early days at Yesterday’s official launch of the NexDor Terrazza. A popular upmarket restaurant serving elegant local cuisine, NexDor is ideal as a laid back meeting place where you can enjoy the incredible historical sights and serene environment of Orlando West in Soweto. The opening of the Martini Terraza at NexDor follows the recent successful African Terrazza launch at Metro Restaurant in Benmore.
